Fantastic training session last week, a well organised outdoor session with great scenarios.

Had a range of sessions with the Pioneer team covering different areas of health & safety. All sessions were thorough and well informed and the team were great! Will definitely continue to use them in the future.
Jon carried out varying levels of First Aid training for some of our employees. Everyone who attended thoroughly enjoyed the courses and all passed which says a lot of the effectiveness of the training given. Would definitely use Pioneer’s services again.

We were lucky enough to be introduced to Pioneer Safety Training through a friend.
An incredibly refreshing way to organise and receive training for the team. As a Hospitality Group – our team work shift patterns and late nights and Jon was able to adapt to these needs without hesitation or complaint. The training took place on site, and as such, could be adapted to review real world scenarios which meant that the training my staff received was far more relevant to their needs than any training previously received.
The team at Pioneer Safety Training clearly have a deep knowledge base and true passion for their craft and I would recommend them whole heartedly to anyone requiring team training.
We’ll certainly be returning customers.
The two day outdoor first aid course I attended was excellent. Jon clearly explained the principles and protocols that a first aider needs to follow in the outdoor environment. Then he and his team provided a number of realistic scenarios, where we learned how to assess someone who appears to be injured or ill, in order to provide the appropriate first aid, and the techniques required to do this. The activities were very much ‘hands-on’, and in each scenario we had to work out for ourselves the appropriate course of action based on our assessment. Jon would observe each interaction and then provide constructive feedback, so that over the two days our learning was reinforced, and our confidence increased. I found this a very effective way of learning. By the end of the course I felt I was ready to tackle a real-life situation. Jon and his team are clearly passionate and knowledgable, but also good company and, although first aid is a serious and challenging topic, they made it interesting and fun.
Massive thank you to Jon and his team for running an Outdoor First Aid course for our DofE Cymru Youth Ambassadors. The two days were really fun and engaging, and the young people involved thoroughly enjoyed. Looking forward to further training with Pioneer.
I needed to renew my level 3 outdoor first aid especially as I’m undergoing a number of national governing body awards and I am an accredited assessor for the DOFE Powys. After searching long and hard for days on the internet I found pioneer safety training. I feel like a lucky man to have spent all those hours trying to find the right organisation for me . Jon was one and a million, very professional, very patient, very kind, bubbly , fun, and very understanding and helped me through the syllabus of the the first aid course very professionally. He also helped me understand situations if I didn’t understand by going through the process thoroughly again so I could understand it .
He was an absolute gentleman and a top professional. Ceri Thomas was absolutely amazing she played a key role in helping me complete my training by me doing lots of hands on first aid assessments on her as part of my first aid training in the outdoors on the second day ceri was fun bubbly and easy to get along with . Jon & ceri have played a massive role in helping me in my outdoor education and it felt like being at home in the outdoors . I love Jon & ceri very much if anyone who is doing the mountain training awards and need to do there outdoor first aid then look no further than pioneer safety training they are the best and hold a special place in my heart .

It’s been a while since my last first aid course and it was great to refresh and go back over things .
Was a great day,very relaxed. A lot of laughter and banter but most important,i learned a lot that I’ve not been taught before. Very worth while course and very enjoyable.
Had the privilege to attend an Emergency First Aid at Work Course with Pioneer Safety Training this week which went above and beyond my and everyone else’s expectations. Outstanding instruction levelled correctly promoting the key points to be understood by all participants. No matter what your knowledge is within first aid or medical sectors, you will learn.

Great training and Jon was a great trainer!
Jon provided a FAW & Fire course for us. I thoroughly enjoyed it, even though I’ve attended many first aid courses, this one was the best so far, informative, flexible and tailored scenarios to situations we would encounter in our field as well as giving instructions that suite the wider public possibly encountered. We will certainly be back when it comes to refreshers and re qualification.
Jonathan provided a very good first aid course, very hands on and explained everything very clearly, we all left confident that we could carry out the first aid we were taught. Will certainly be glad to book him again for our company refresher course.
