This is the ideal course for anyone leading a party in the outdoors, from Mountain Leaders to Duke of Edinburgh Assessors. An adaptable course that can be arranged around your needs. Completed in an outdoor environment with realistic scenarios.

The course is 16 hours and covers the necessary modules for compliancy. The course can be arranged and carried out at locations where you need it.

Modules to be covered will include: Safety, Primary & Secondary Survey, CPR (including AED,) Trauma, bleeding, injuries, shock, drowning, hyperthermia, choking, burns, poisons, medical scenarios including stroke, diabetes, heart attacks and angina, epilepsy, anaphylaxis, keeping the casualty safe and using the recovery position, methods of evacuation, incident documentation and standard equipment to consider to carry as a Leader.
