Pioneer Safety now offer training courses in Mental Health in the Workplace. These courses can help you gain a basic understanding and awareness of mental health to support your own wellbeing as well as people around you at your workplace. There are 3 Courses available under our Mental Health in the Workplace portfolio which are aimed at various levels of the team within your business.
Each of these courses can be completed via face to face or online and arranged around your requirements.

Mental Health in the Workplace L1 & L2
Course Duration – 1 day (from £95)
Our Mental Health in the Workplace level 1 and 2 are aimed at those in a workplace that want to make a difference. This training will give you the tools of what to look out for if someone in your workplace may be struggling or suffering in silence. The course is an open environment where topics can be discussed including knowledge of mental ill health in the workplace, the different recognised forms of mental ill health and how to be the first line of support to help someone suffering in the workplace. It will give guidance on the signs and symptoms as well as looking at stereotyping, stigma and discrimination.
The course will also cover about stress, its causes and how it can be managed by the employee and employer, how it can affect your body, relationships, work ethic and more. You will learn about the different forms of depression, phobias and other forms of mental health to give you a broader understanding of what you come across in your working environment as well as finding out about what further assistance is available on a local and national level.
Mental Health in the Workplace L3
Course Duration – 2 days (from £190)
Our Mental Health in the Workplace level 3 course is aimed at Employers or Employees within a business that want to make a change. As well as covering the topics in Level 1&2 this course continues further to look at the integration of a good Mental Health program within your workplace as well as showing your acceptance of Mental Ill Health within your team. This could include allowing flexible or reduced working hours, a change in role, hybrid working and other work related changes to help your teams mental health.
The course will look at implementation of process within a business, including training of Mental Health First Aiders, a knowledge of who someone can turn to, and an acceptance of time requirements.
